In what way have the digital badges and micro-credentials made an impact on you?

Wyatt Anderson Presenting

Digital badges and micro-credentials have helped me create a strong resume, and LinkedIn presence. Personal and professional development were some of the first impacts I noticed. Through the Leading With Strengths Workshop I gained invaluable insight into my ability to work and participate in team settings. These badges and micro-credentials are a great way to reflect on and add value to the experiences that you have had at Iowa State while gaining tangible recognition at no extra cost to you. What was the most eye-opening part of being involved in Pathways?

The most eye-opening part of being involved in Pathways is the involvement of CALS faculty and staff. The environment that they have cultivated is welcoming, and focused on your own growth adding value to what you're already doing at Iowa State.

What advice would you share with someone thinking about joining Pathways?

Meet with Amy or a Pathways Peer Mentor - they are great resources. Having even a 5-minute conversation with one of them is extremely helpful when it comes to charting your 'path' within the program.

What are your goals after graduation?

Following graduation, I plan to either attend law school, work within government relations for a commodity group, or find a job within the government.
